review Cerave Hydrating Cleanser vs Cetaphil

 hye hooman...welcome again..

without further a due..

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser.. kalau kat Malaysia, Cerave brand ni macam Cetaphil la, dermotologist recommended, tapi Cerave ni famous di negara barat macam Canada dan USA. ok Soo! how did I end up with this product?

cause I have dehydrated/dry skin. This brand is one of the most suggested product for dry skin on internet. that's why I purchased it. available untuk dry skin and oily skin. aku, kalau nak try product baru memang aku akan beli trial dulu sebab takut tak sesuai, lagi 1, cerave hydrating cleanser ni, for me its so expensive for a cheapskate woman like mehh haha. kalau sesuai baru aku beli yang besar punya. aku beli re-pack dia kat shopee. details is shown in the picture below;

texture dia gel,  macam cetaphil cuma cerave lagi pekat sikit dari cetaphil. takde bau dan tak berbuih. bila apply kat muka, dia akan smooth kan kulit, jadi kulit pun rasa lembab dan lembut lepas bilas. untuk kulit aku, kelembapan dia bertahan 4 jam tanpa pelembab.

dari segi kandungan, boleh check kat sini. aku pun tak perasan dia ada paraben, padahal sebelum beli tu aku dah check. tapi entah lah maybe dah confuse sebab search banyak sangat product sampai lupa. aku tak purchase balik sebab dia ada paraben dan fungal acne triggered, tapi kat kulit aku fungal acne tu takde tapi disebabkan paraben tu je aku decide untuk tidak purchase lagi. its works really well on my skin but so sad..... it have paraben (sighhhh).

sumber: Cetaphil Malaysia Facebook

kandungan cetaphil cleanser boleh check kat sini. ni pun aku beli trial pack kat watson, beli time promo rm29++. masa beli ni aku tak check ingredients, beli based on review je. actually ni kali ke-2 aku beli. first aku beli masa kat Sabah, rumah aku kalau siang panas, jadi muka akan berminyak sikit. masa tu bila aku pakai cetaphil ni, muka aku jadi pedih kalau cuaca panas dan muncul jerawat kecil2. so aku stop, aku bagi adik aku pakai. but after 1-2 years macam tu aku purchase balik, nak bagi second chance la konon, with hope it will work. so this is my 2nd purchased. beza dia kali ni rumah aku ada aircond, so takde la panas and muka aku kering sebab aircond.

texture dia gel macam yang aku mention kat atas, takde bau dan tak berbuih. muka memang terasa lembut dan lembab. tapiii, kadang jerawat kecil pandai muncul. just like my previous trial, cuma bezanya dah tak pedih la sebab tak panas dah kan. lagipun kali ni aku pakai pelembab dia sekali. jerawat tu muncul dan hilang sendiri. tak best la kan macam tu so aku stop. tak habis pun aku pakai, aku bagi mak aku pakai, dengan mak aku pulak dia tak bagi apa-apa kesan.. hmm.

Moisturizing Lotion (Body & Face)

pelembab dia ni aku suka sebab ia buat muka aku moisture, glowing and lembut. texture dia macam lotion dan takde bau. boleh pakai untuk badan sekali tapi aku pakai untuk muka je. pakai sikit je dah cukup untuk muka aku yang lebar ni haha, seyes. kalau pakai banyak2 muka akan rasa berminyak dan melekit and I dont like that. dia tak meresap dengan cepat sebab tu kulit rasa lembab dan glowing. Although it work well for my skin, aku tak repurchase jugak sebab ingrediants dia. silicone tu boleh clog pores (sumbat pori-pori).

summary:

Cerave Hydrating Cleanser
pros:
hydrate and moist skin, easy application, hygiene (pump bottle)

cons:
expensive, have paraben, not available in Malaysia drugstore, kena beli online je.

rate : 7/10

Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser
pros:
mudah didapati di drugstore, hydrate and moist skin, hygiene bottle, easy application, reasonable price.

cons:
contain paraben and SLS

rate: 5/10

so konklusinyaaa....
I said, because of the paraben, I wouldn't purchase it anymore..

Disclaimer:
I am not a dermatologist or skin expert, review is based on my personal experiences.

update 31 january 2022:
baru tau cerave cleanser ni ada dua jenis, 1 yang ada paraben, 1 takde, tak silap saya dari Canada takde paraben. lepas seminggu try yang paraben-free, dia tak berkesan mcm yg ada paraben tu, urutan ingridients dia pun dah tak sama, bila saya pakai muka jadi panas tapi lepas bilas dia ok je. apapun sy dah stop pakai cleanser ni sebab dah jumpa yang lebih sesuai :).

diaper review: Huggies vs Mamy Poko, Drypers, Genki

Actually, there is a lot of diapers brands I have used for my son already. But! in this entry I want to highlight this famous brand among parents in Malaysia. Huggies vs Mamy Poko...and a slot for Drypers and Genki since its popular too...right? jom..

sumber: Google

Huggies Dry Pants XXL

packaging dia ok, design dia macam dalam gambar tapi dia ada banyak design, ikut size, comel-comel jugak not bad. Harga rm35++ macam tu.

absorbency = 8/10 (standard diaper)
dryness = 2/10. ntah la, kawan2 yang pakai brand ni cakap best sebab dry kan. tapi kenapa? setiap kali aku check diaper anak aku or tukar diaper dia, mesti basah. bukan basah biasa2 taw, lencunnn. boleh tengok pic kat bawah kalau tak caya. aku letak tissue atas pad diaper tu lepas 30 min I took off from my son. like i gave it time to absorb even but stilllll... ughhh! sorry huggies im just so disappointed with you.

maybe dalam gambar tak jelas tapi memang tisu tu jadi basah lembab. thats enough for me to stop re-purchase huggies. tapi sebenarnya memang tak nak beli pun, cuma bila husband yang beli and takde pilihan lain, grab je apa yang ada. lagi satu, for my son huggies ni tahan 8 jam jek. lebih dari tu mesti bocorr.

overall for huggies, i would rate 5/10. tapi ni rate untuk huggies dry pants taw, bukan untuk huggies yang lain mcm premium tu. aku tak pernah try lagi, mungkin lebih baik dari yang ni but nevermind. i'll just stop here for huggies

ok next is mamy poko. brand ni dari tape dan pants, yang standard sampai la extra dry tu aku dah try. semua result google mamy poko yang korang search tu aku dah try so tak perlu lah aku tepek gambar kat sini eh heheh sebab memang puas hati. Tak pernah kecewa dengan mamy poko. price equal quality. mahal pun berbaloi. absorbency dan dryness 10/10. saiz, design, apa semua aku puas hati. tak de cons yang aku boleh senaraikan so parents out there, dont hesitate to purchase mamy poko brand for your babies alright? In Shaa Allah puas hati dan happyyy.

for me, brand yang setanding mamy poko is Genki. dua-dua ni brand dari jepun so no wonder la kan. cuma genki design dia plain white and blue (design may change time to time) bukan macam mamy poko yang colourful. saiz pulak agak kecik dari mamy poko tapi price range dia hampir sama dengan mamy poko. such a competition kan.

last but not least is Drypers. My son very first diaper brand was drypers, I bought yang newborn punya. drypers ni kira brand budget aku kalau tak ada mamy poko sebab quality dia so-so.

pros:
colorful design, perfect size, high absorbency, dryness

cons:
rough material, rashes

material pad drypers bagi aku agak kasar dan keras. and then rendah2 kat tepi-tepi tu always caused rashes to my son skin. irritated. tujuan rendah2 tu untuk lock leaking , nak elak bocor tapi benda tu la yang buat skin anak aku irritated. Thus, aku beli drypers ni bila darurat jurr..

oh! before I end this blog, aku nak bagitaw brand diaper yang paling aku tak suka. which is.. Whopee. I have special blog for that brand, feel free to read.

alright thats all for this entry. ma'salamah.

review Hada Labo Hydarating Light

 salam humaan.. :)

baik. untuk blog kali ni, aku nak share review mengenai skincare product Hada Labo Hydrating light.

source: Google

gmbr seperti diatas. Aku beli yang trial je sebab takut tak sesuai. dalam 1 kit tu ada cleanser (pencuci muka), toner dan moisturiser (pelembab). kulit aku jenis dehydrated dan kering, silap aku beli product ni sebab yang ni untuk kulit normal - berminyak (normal to oily skin). jadi disini, aku nak review kesan product ni keatas kulit kering. aku review 1-1 ye..

Hada Labo Hydrating face wash

pros.
pencuci muka ni ada BHA/AHA acid, muka terasa bersih sebab ia menanggalkan segala kotoran dan kesan-kesan make-up. acid-acid tu berfungsi untuk exfoliate/menanggalkan kulit mati.

cons.

note:
bila tngok balik ingredients, rupa-rupanya, banyak harsh chemical yang sangat sangat mengeringkan kulit. aku dapat kesan tu sebab kulit aku kering, ia memang sepatutnya mengurangkan minyak sebab pencuci ni diformulasikan untuk kulit berminyak. aku pakai 2x je terus stop. aku bagi laki aku pakai, kulit dia berminyak so pencuci ni serasi dengan dia. however, dia tak nak repurchase pun.

Hada Labo Hydrating Lotion (Light)

ni adalah toner walaupun namanya lotion. kena pakai toner ni lepas pencuci muka. texture dia seperti air dan tak berbau. pros dan cons dia sama je dengan cleanser dia, mengeringkan kulit aku yang memang kering ni hahah.

Hada Labo Hydrating water gel

last but not least, pelembab hada labo ni. bagi aku pelembab dia ni ok tapi cepat kering, cepat meresap dan texture gel dia yang sejuk memang best pakai atas muka. tapi sama jugak, kulit aku lembab kejap je.

since then, aku dah boleh pilih nak beli product apa based on skincarisma.com dan cosDNA.com. aku suggest korang buat macam aku, sebelum beli, check dekat webiste tu kandungan dia ok? goodluck.

Interracial marriage, Malaysian Marrying Foreigner : Cerita Kawin Warga Asing (pakistan) best ke?

Assalamua3laikum humannn... 😘

If you checked my other post, you'll notice that I post about my experience to Murrey, Pakistan where I hold and experienced snow for the first time in my life. Here's my story..

I met my husband when I was in my 2nd year studying in Uni. We've known each other for 1 week and we straightly got married.

And Nope! I'm not kidding. We were totally strangers, we dunno each other and we indeed got married in only 1 week. How??? Istikharah :) I got my answer when I perform my 1st istikharah the next day after he proposed me and of course my family thought i'm out of my mind, but Alhamdulillah, we manage to "bribe" them and here i am. Married with one son.

First difficulties we encounter is managing the documents. oh btw, my husband is from Pakistan and hes not jual-jual karpet mcm yg korang slalu nampak eh 😒, kalau jual karpet pun apa masalahnya? penting rezeki halal and bahagia kan? it just our mentality towards this people make it looks like it is a shame to marry those people. walhal dorang manusia jugakk. ok ok enough blabbering. continue..

I dont really remember what document was needed because.... mann😕😅😉.. its been 4 years now. But I'll leave this link here for your references. Just a little warning here, if you decide to marry a foreigner, you'll definitely facing 'drama' in managing the documents especially in immigration. So be patient, take a deep breath whenever you come to immigration ok?

MasyAllah, even before I married to him, he's been stable in terms of financial and other basic necessities such as house, car, etc. So after married, we have been living together until today, In Shaa Allah till jannah😌🙏.

2nd difficulties...jeng! jengg! jengggg!!
nothing much actually, but we have disagreement in terms of Mazhab as i am following syafi'e and hes Hanafi. For Hanafi, touching hand wouldn't break the wudhu but opposite to Syafi'e. We end up refer to Alim and sheikh regarding this matter and some other few matter. but anyways, now all is settle.

as for Food! Gurlll,, they are full of spices lol. He cant live without his origin food, thus hes cooking it himself. and obviously he taught me 😶. As for me, I am more into simple and healthy food like salad and egg or nasi bujang. Alhamdulillah now I know few recipe of their basic food like Chicken Karahi, pulof rice, and their version of veg. His favourite malay food so far are Rendang, Nasi goreng USA and maggie goreng. he's not really much accepting our local food. especially the plain nasi with lauk unless if he really hungry then yes.

My husband is from Peshawar, a place which have strong culture. I mean, they have strong culture when it come to woman and man. well, they are muslim country anyway. I'm not sure about other regions though if they have similar strong culture, like karachi, islamabad, lahore etc. I guess they do. How strong their culture is?? let me tell you. We malaysian greet our guests non-according to gender right? does't matter stranger or family, we will greet them all kan? but not for them. if there's a non-mahram guy come for visit, the woman will be in the room till the guests is out. basically they dont mix in terms of gender. they are very islamic which I like.

I never see his friends nor his friends ever see me lol. I am just a typical woman before married with normal hijab, but after married to him, I have to wear niqab/burqa which I don't mind. His reason?

" you are too pretty to be seen by others and I wont them to see you "

cough! coughh!! uhhukk uhukkweeeek! sorry. I vomit a little.

Anyways, people are different, Alhamdulillah I am happy to have him and he stated that hes very very much happy to have me too. waaah! hahah. ok serious talk, we are happy with each other, with our marriage Alhamdulillah, if I'm not happy, I wouldn't share this with you guys, I wouldn't have kid with him. Pray that our marriage will last forever till Jannah. Ameeeeeeen.

so! is it fun to be married with foreigner?? best ke?

If you love interracial culture, adventure in immigration XD, loose person, then I would say yes. Loose person I mean here is you are not strict, able to adapt to new things and kinda flexible.

I am enjoying my marriage because I love learning new languages, English is our main communication language although he can speak malay not fluently and my English is still have flaws although I've spoke it for 4 years😅. I love trying new foods, discover new places and culture etc.

Little tips if you want to settle down with foreigner.

1. check his/her background carefully, deeply and properly
2. get in contact with his/her family
3. know what he/she likes and dislike
4. what type of person he/she is when angry

alright. I guess thats all. till next time.

Jahitan bersalin terbuka? What should I do?

Assalamua3laikum...

Jahitan tu awal2 sakit yang amat especially kalau duduk, mak suruh cuci guna manjakani tapi saya degil sebab doctor cakap jangan so saya ikut cakap doctor. Btw saya lahirkan Wildan kat Sabah ye, misi tak datang rumah macam kat semenanjung. Awal2 tu tak perasan jahitan terbuka tapi yang saya perasan, jahitan dah tak sakit kalau duduk. bila saya tengok cermin baru nampak dia dah terbuka, benang dah terurai. Ngeriiii kalau ingat balik. nak nangis pun ada waktu tu.

lepas tu saya google pasal ni, ramai yang cakap kalau jahit balik, tak pakai bius dah and lagi sakit. Soo nopee! I wouldn't do that. search punya search jumpa satu comment sister ni, dy pakai Solcoseryl Jelly. ubat ni untuk luka terbakar dengan luka besar. Ubat ni akan hasilkan daging kat kawasan luka tu. Harga RM15+ tak silap. boleh beli kat pharmacy.

saya pakai ubat ni seminggu. pakai hari2 setiap kali lepas buang air besar/kecik.

Family Trip to Kundasang 2D1N (RM730 for 15 persons)

Kundasang is one the famous tourist attraction in Sabah, or I would say it is the main attraction since it symbolizes the location of mount Kinabalu. I am currently doing my degree in Tourism Planning and Hospitality Management course, so I tried to practice my skill by creating an itinerary for my family trip to Kundasang as well as become their main sponsor lol.

Before that, I do research on internet regarding tourist attraction in Kundasang including places for stay and fortunately I found the best place for stay. If you want to know where, keep reading! Everything I listed here is enough for you to enjoy the whole Kundasang because I ALMOST (just almost) cover all the main and beautiful places there. So did my trip goes according to plan? Let’s find out.

Alright! After doing research, I listed all the places. So, here’s what I found.

1.     Desa Dairy Farm
2.     Sg. Moroli Fish Spa
3.     Strawberry farm
a.     Mesilau Mt Retreat and farm or:
b.     Highland strawberry farm
4.     Mesilau Cat Village
5.     Rose and Strawberry Garden
6.     Poring Canopy Walk
7.     Kundasang War Memorial
8.     Kinabalu Park

Next is finding place for stay since this trip I planned for 2 days 1 night. I found a very beautiful place with affordable price which is Alpine D’Bayu Residence. Aaa I forget to mention, all my family member including me are 15 (13 adult, 1 kid and 1 infant). Alpine D’bayu Residence have good reviews and rates, I found their info on facebook. I text the contact person, pay deposit and done! Place for stay is settle. then I search each distance of those listed attraction to our place stay. Why? So I can decide which place to go first.

Ok now we can start with our itinerary muehehehehe..

Day 1

5:00am - depart from home
8am-10am : poring hot spring – canopy walk
10:30am-11:30am : Sg. Moroli Fish Spa
12:30pm-1:00pm : Kg. Mesilau Strawberry Farm
1:30pm-1:45pm :buy food at Pekan Kundasang
2:00pm-3:00pm : Check-in Homestay and Lunch (self-cook)
3:00pm-4:00pm : Mesilau Cat Village
5:00pm: return to homestay and rest

Day 2

9am-10am : breakfast
10am-11am: take pic and check out
11:30am-1pm: Desa Dairy Farm
1:30pm-2:15pm : Rose and Strawberry Garden
2:40pm – 3:30pm : war memorial
4-5pm: Kinabalu Park
5pm : going back to kk

ABOVE IS WHAT I PLAN! BUTTT THIS IS WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPEN LOL!!

Day 1

9:00am – depart from home [because we woke up late (-,-)]
11:30am-12pm : Kg. Mesilau Mt Retreat and farm (Strawberry Farm)
12:30pm-1:00pm : Mesilau Cat Village (we want to check in its too early so we end up go to Cat village first while waiting for check in at 2pm)
1:30pm-2:00pm : Check-in Homestay and Lunch (self-cook)
3:00pm – stay homestay and rest (everyone got tired and feel comfort at the homestay so we decide just to stay and relax. Beside I am with small baby so I have to cook and feed him)

Day 2

9-10am: breakfast
10-11am: take pic and check out (this place is very suitable for photoshoot)
11:15pm-12pm : Desa Dairy Farm
1:00pm-2:00pm : Sg. Moroli Fish Spa
2:30pm-3:00pm : Floral Market
3:30pm – going back to kk

Ok so! As you can see, we did not manage to visit 4 attractions from all the listed places because:

1.    Rose and Strawberry Garden (we did not find the right direction to Rose and Strawberry farm so we just stop at nearest floral market on the side road)
2.    Poring Canopy Walk (we already visit poring before so we decide to cancel it since it is 50km from our stay place and I am with baby so it will be difficult since it is a jungle. At first we also planned to cancel to Sg. Moroli fish spa because of the distance but I insist on 2ndday to go there)
3.    Kundasang War Memorial (it was almost raining so we decide just to skip it since the place is an open place. My cousin already visit this place and she said there’s nothing much to do, it just for picture things. Same goes to :
4.    Kinabalu Park

One more place is Sabah tea. It is near Sg. Moroli fish spa but I didn’t put it on my visit list because based on review the place just have tea farm view with expensive food at their restaurant. I live in KL and I prefer Cameron Highland tea farm view. Beside that time it is already noon so it will be so hot.

Ok lets move on to the budget. I expect it to be more than RM700. So I prepared RM800.

Accommodation: 1 cabin (Acacia Cabin) RM250/night
Food: RM100 (we buy food at Bataras market)
Transportation gas/oil return: RM70 (Proton Waja : my brother car) RM80 (Unser : brother-in-law car)

Entrance fees total for 13 Adults 1 kid 1 infant
Mesilau Mt Retreat and farm (Strawberry Farm) – (RM3x13) + (RM2x2)=RM41
Desa Dairy Farm – (RM5x13) + (RM3x2) =RM71
Sg. Moroli Fish Spa – RM5x13=RM65 (below 3 years = free)
Cat Village – RM4x13= RM52

Total= RM729

Ok done with my failed itinerary. It is my first time though. So I would say it is fine. What important is my whole family enjoy it. Its FREE! Of course, they enjoy it lol.

Acacia Cabin

Mount Kinabalu

Flower Landscape

Alpine D’bayu Residence pedestrian

Ok now move on to review. First, I want to review about Alpine D’bayu Residence. Guysss! You would not believe this place. It is so breathtaking and cheap for 15 person lol with only RM250 (weekdays). I choosed Acacia cabin because it is the only cabin which have clear view back and front. Another cabin is hidden by 1 pine tree at the middle. It is 2 story cute house/cabin with 2 rooms, 1 toilet, 3 single beds with 1 queen and have a cute balcony. The landscape is full of flowers and you can see mount kinabalu at the back view. They are not allowing non-halal food and have full kitchen equipment (gas, stove, rice cooker, plates, freezer and utensil). It has tv complete with asro, dining table, 1 sofa with 1 table. The morning view is very peaceful with sound of water flowing under the small bridge and smell of fresh flowers with beautiful weather. The place is very suitable for photoshoot location. And yesss! We 15 peoples fit in the cute cabin! Btw. This cabin is near to another homestays. One of them is Kiram Village which also have a beautiful landscape with small lake and affordable place but I prefer Alpine D’bayu Residence.

Kiram Village

Ok next Kg. Mesilau Mt Retreat and farm (Strawberry Farm)
It is very unfortunate for us because when we went there, there was no ripe strawberry. All was still raw. The farm was small, and it was a little bit difficult for us to go there because of bad road condition with many patholes. Thankfully it was not raining otherwise we might not make it because the road might become muddy and it is hill. But from Alpine D’bayu Residence to this place, you will pass Mount Kinabalu Golf Club which is worth picture snapping so make sure to stop there to snap some pic alright?

Move on to Mesilau Cat Village. This place is typical. Small place but have beautiful flower and cute cat houses. All of their cat are stray cats, just some are foreign breed. When I was there, I saw an American curl breed. The road to this place is very narrow and gravel, also poor road condition. We did not go to rabbit village because we like cat more than rabbit lol. But these places are near to each other.
Mesilau Cat Village

Mesilau Cat Village

The famous place in Kundasang is Desa Dairy farm. This is the place where people keep saying New Zealand versi sabah because it is indeed like New Zealand. Pine tree, Holstein Friesian Cattle cow, the symbolic fence and mount kinabalu. There is café selling pizza, dessert, dairy products and there is also restaurant. Don’t miss out the chance to taste their symbolic ice cream and milk ok?

Desa Dairy Farm

Second last is Sg Moroli Fish Spa. This place is 50km estimated distance from Kundasang and it have small café and bazaar selling sliced fruits, food and beverages. If I wasn’t mistaken, 15 minutes per group inside. They will announce when you can enter and go out based on your number. The fish will eat your dead skin on your feet. The feel is itchy but fun, it is such a wonderful experience.

Sg. Moroli Fish Spa

Last but not least is floral market. As I mentioned before, we try to go to Rose and Strawberry garden because my mother love Rose and we all want to see the strawberry but unfortunately, due to weak range, the waze and maps failed to show us the right direction. We end up go to floral near the road side and there’s one more but I forgot the shop name sorry.

side road floral market

Flower Nursery

I suggest you to visit the places I listed below at once because the road is hill which is going up. So, if you go more than one time, you will waste gas and kinda torturing your vehicle. Going down is fine though but going up is little bit difficult.

Kg. Mesilau Mt Retreat and farm (Strawberry Farm)
Cat Village
Desa Dairy Farm
Floral Shop on the side road (Chinese name flower nursery shop) lol
Rose and Strawberry Garden

Or go to Sg. Morolis Fish Spa first then to poring and finally to above listed places or vise versa.

Ok people. That’s it. Hope you enjoy my review and good luck with your upcoming holiday. Ma’asalamah

update 31 january 2022:
There is many new attractions in Kundasang which me, myself have not visit yet, and also the price might have change.

pengalaman pertama kali bermain Salji, Murree Pakistan

Assalamua3laikum readers… Alhamdulillah today we are still breathing and thanks to Allah for everything. So today I would like to share my vacation to Murree, Pakistan.

Sejuk dia 5x ganda sejuk Cameron or Genting.

Perasaan saya masa first time pegang salji hari itu rasa seronok sangat.

Salji, walaupun nampak fluffy, ia sebenarnya berat so memang kena sangat berhati-hati. Masa lawatan kami ke sana pun tersekat di tengah jalan sebab jalan dia 1 saja tapi 2 way and pada hari itu jalan menjadi 1 way sebab tepi-tepi jalan itu penuh dengan salji tapi Alhamdulillah tak ada apa yang terjadi.

In Shaa Allah kalau umur panjang nak datang lagi and kalau diberi peluang oleh Allah, saya teringin nak pergi Hunza dan Kashmir In Shaa Allah. JMa’aslamah.
