Tommee Tippee and Pigeon Wide Neck Bottle

Assalamua3laikum Readers...

Hari tu pergi Baby Expo kat Shah Alam ada beli botol Tomme Tippee yang 5oz wanna hijau macam gambar kat bawah ne. Memang dah lama dah usha botol ne siap buat research lagi (haa nampak tak exitednye kat situ). Sebenarnya saya terpengaruh dengan feedback positive botol ne. Ramai yang kata botol ne ok, baby jarang yang reject and mimicking mothers nipple. Apa yang best pasal botol ne ialah:

1. Puting menyerupai puting ibu
2. Design comel
3. Ada banyak jenis puting with different flow (bergantung kepada umur baby)
4. Harga mampu milik (depends dengan saiz, jenis  dan sukatan botol) botol yang saya beli ne RM15 (promosi) tak silap saya harga sebenar RM25
5. Senang nak cuci
6. Anti-colic


yang tak bestnye botol ne:

1. puting dia agak keras (tapi lembut sikit dari puting Avent)
2. Tulisan dia kat botol tu pudar
3. leaking
4. puting pndai masuk dalam kalau baby isap lama2.
5. not User-Friendly sebab bottle TT ne susah nak match dengan botol2 lain. Mcm botol lain, boleh tukar puting or botol dengan brand lain tapi TT tak boleh. ada kut tapi jarang and so far saya tak pernah jumpa lagi.

First time bagi anak saya guna dia tak reject. But after 2 months using dia REJECT! haha. Maksudnya, memang jarang baby reject bottle TT ne tapi lama2 dorang pandai reject. Tapi lain baby lain perangai, perhaps my son saje je buang tebiat nak tukar botol lain *roll eyes* wallahua'lam. So bila dia reject botol TT ne saya mula la search botol lain and this is how I found Pigeon Bottle.

Saya beli kat Shopee dengan harga RM29.64 160ml wide neck. Mahal sikit dari TT. Pigeon ne product Jepun tapi made in China. Orang putih tak pakai sangat brand ne, orang asia jer. apa yang best mengenai botol ini ialah:

1. puting dia sangat2 lembut and flexible. sama jugak macam TT, mimicking mothers nipple. Baby pun tak tersedak sebab kadang ada baby dia suka puting tu dalam mulut dia tapi dia tak isap pun. Puting Pigeon ne memang tak kan buat baby tersedak.
2. puting dia collapse-resistant (tak berlipat or masuk dalam kalau baby isap lama2)
3. air susu tak kan keluar selagi baby tak isap. ne yang paling best! so tak payah risau kalau simpan dalam beg tertonggeng ke apa ke, air susu tak kan keluar.
4. penutup dia ada stand so kalau buka tu and letak kat lantai dia tak kan bergolek macam botol2 lain.
5. senang nak cuci
6. anti-colic
7. puting ada banyak jenis (5 jenis ikut umur baby)

satu je yang tak best pasal botol ne. design dan warna dia. boring lol. My son pun tak reject botol ne dari first sampai la sekarang Alhamdulillah! harapnya smpai bila2 la dia tak reject botol ne sebab saya pun suka :) In Shaa Allah.

My Baby Product: Pureen Baby Wipes, Cetaphil, Minyak Telon Mestika and Vaseline

Masa baby saya dalam perut lagi saya dah plan awal-awal untuk tidak menggunakan sebarang product yang berkimia untuk baby sehingga dia berusia 6 bulan. Now he is 2 months old soon to be 3 months In Shaa Allah. I never use any baby skin product on him other than Pureen Blue Baby Wipes, Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, Minyak Telon Bayini Mestika and Vaseline. 

Pureen Baby Wipes

 

Benda ne saya terbeli selepas baca review where theres a lot of parents are using this product because it cheap and easy to find. Tapi waktu tu tak aware sangat pasal ingredient dia. Yes it is made from high quality and safe ingredients. HOWEVER! there is 2 ingredient that make me stop using it which is Fragrance (pewangi) and Phenoxythanol (bahan pengawet biasa yang digunakan untuk menggantikan Paraben. (source). Lepas tu dah tak purchase any wipes dah, I made DIY wipes instead. Lagipun dalam Islam syarat untuk bersihkan najis mesti ada air mengalir kat kawasan yang terkena najis tu (source) Sebelum ne saya bersihkan najis baby dengan cara spray dengan air bersih dulu then baru wipe dengan wet tissue tapi sekarang spray then lap je dengan tissue kering.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

Dulu saya sendiri pakai Cetaphil ne tapi disebabkan tak sesuai dengan saya (muka jadi berminyak) saya stop walaupun isi masih banyak. Saya guna untuk cukur kepala baby masa dia baru lahir and guna sekali untuk mandikan dia sebab hari tu masa pegi clinic check jaundice dia, ada patient yang kena campak/chicken pox so balik je rumah terus mandikan dia and terpaksa guna sabun untuk elak bejangkit and Alhamdulillah hes fine till now and hopefully forever In Shaa Allah.

Minyak Telon Bayini Mestika

Before delivery I bought Sariayu set bersalin mini untuk pantang and dalam tu ada minyak telon sekali. Selama tu pakai minyak telon Sariayu jer sampai la kawan kenalkan minyak Mestika ne sebab minyak telon Sariayu tu menthol dia tak kuat, jadinya baby saya kembung perut sebab dia tak keluarkan angin. Saya suka bau minyak Mestika ne and menthol dy memang sesuai untuk baby. Masa first time sapu kat perut dia, terus banyak angin keluar. He fart a lot since I start using this oil. But soon I want to try Minyak Bebe Anugerah and Herbal Tropika Cream coz I read positive review about these both products.

Vaseline Intensive Care

This is one of my favorite product. Saya guna setiap kali tukar diaper baby and letak kat bahagian leher dia untuk elakkan kulit jadi merah sebab kadang bahagian leher dia jadi kering and then merah. Since I use Vaseline, my baby never have diaper rash and even dermatologist (source) recommend it sebab Vaseline ne tak meresap dalam kulit. Kalau guna untuk diaper cream, dia akan jadi barrier for your baby skin so the feces or urine will not in contact with the skin. Thus it will prevent your baby skin from rashes. I also use coconut oil for my baby diaper cream and moisturizer which work really good.

Malish Ilaria Breastpump Review & Tips before purchasing breastpump

Assalamua3laikum wahai pembaca, semoga sihat selalu :)

2 weeks ago saya purchased my Malish Ilaria at PumpOnTheGo (POTG) Cheras dengan harga RM399 with free gifts. Banyak gak free gifts dia serious tak rugi beli. Sebelum beli tu saya baca sume review yang saya jumpa dalam internet sebab yelah sebelum ne tak pernah pun beli or pakai breastpump (-_-) sebab saya kan baru jadi mak orang lelz. Based on review, overall sume kata Malish Ilaria ne best, super silent, suction lembut macam baby, heavy duty (boleh pump 8-10x sehari), etc dan Malish Ilaria ne setanding dengan Lacte Duet cuma beza pada suction. Lacte Duet suction dia kuat sikit dari Malish Ilaria.

Lepas fikir masak-masak, buat perbandingan itu ini, saya pun decide untuk beli Malish Ilaria sebab saya memang nak suction yang lembut and heavy duty. Price pun masih dalam bugdet so why not?
time nak beli tu husband nak cepat sebab ada hal lain so beli pun rush je which is not fun at all kan?
niat di hati nak try breastpump yang lain but since husband nak cepat, tak sempat nak try. gahhh!! sampai je kedai POTG tu terus bagitaw staff tu nk try Malish Ilaria. Staff tu amek pump, bawa bilik and suh saya try.

Masa try tu, saya jadi blur sikit hahah. Sebab mostly review stated that:

1. Motor Super-Silent
well,,, not that much SUPERRRR-silent. ke sebab bilik tu sunyi? dunno. For me agak kuat jugak la. kalau rate kekuatan 1-10, I would say 5/10.

2. Suction
Soft? yes. masa try tu soft je. so ok jer.

Disebabkan husband sangat rush, saya try kejap je, x sampai pun 5 minit terus purchased tanpa fikir panjang. Lagipun dah try kan?? dah baca review kan?? ok Done purchased. Tak sabar nak balik rumah nak pump.

Sampai rumah saya pun try la. Part dia tak banyak pun so senang sikit nak cuci. Malish Ilaria ne kena pakai plug, tapi pakai battery and USB connect powerbank or any USB electric source pun boleh. Lepas cuci sterilize apa sume saya pun try.

Review: (THIS IS BASED ON MY PERSONAL REVIEW ONLY)
1. I confirmed that it is not SUPER-silent tapi masih dalam kategori senyap jugak la. Bunyi vibrate motor agak kuat bagi saya.

2. Suction memang lembut. Tapi kan. makin lama nipple makin sakit. Dia awal-awal pump tu tak sakit tapi lama-lama dia jadi sakit. Masa ne trus rasa macam menyesal beli sebab try kejap je kat kedai. Maybe kalau saya try lama sikit tak jadi beli kut sebab rasa sakit. Terus g PM fb POTG tanya kenapa nipple boleh sakit. Sis tu kata kena basahkan nipple dengan air susu sebelum pump. Saya pun try basahkan, siap massage g tapi still jugak SAKIT. huhu. Then bila google, rupa-rupanya saiz flange tu tak sesuai dengan breast saya. patutlah sakit. Im not sure kalau Malish ilaria ne ada flange saiz lain. tak search lagi tapi just because of this saya dah tak semangat nak pump. Sebab tu la you should try first before purchased. saya boleh je beli online tapi takut jadi kes macam ne. Hampeh! Sis kecewa haha.

3. Heavy duty. yee memang heavy duty. 1 expect myself to pump often sebab nak buat stock banyak2 sebelum sambung belajar tapiiii end up pump sekali sehari jerr. 1 more reason rasa menyesal beli hahah. Baik beli medium je, murah sikit. huhu. Nasi dah jadi bubur.

4. Tube dia tu senang lekat habuk and rasa melekit-lekit. setiap kali nak kemas, gulung tube tu mesti rasa kasar sebab banyak habuk melekat.

5. Cover silicone kat bahagian flange tu make my breast gatal.

6. Malish Ilaria ne bukannya freestyle macam Medela. Kalau nak pump both breasts kena pegang dua2 or support guna paha (which is not secure. It can collapse sometime) so, kalau nak tukar suction level ke apa ke kena lepas satu tangan utk tekan or minta orang lain tekankan. And then kadang baby nangis so kena la stop kejap kalau takde orang tolong jaga. Haaaa kat sini la yang saya annoying sebab tak boleh pause. kalau nak pause kena off then kalau nak sambung kena on balik. So bila on balik tu timer dia macam baru pump lerr. haishhh.  FYI breast kita digalakkan pump 30 min je. kalau pump lebih dari 30 min takut tissue dalam breast tu koyak and Malish Ilaria ne auto pump for 30 min, dy akan stop sendiri lepas 30 min. so let say tengah syiok2 pump, baby nangis, baru 15 min pump tapi kena stop. memandangkan tak boleh pause kena stop. bila on balik dia akan jadi 30 min balik. faham tak ? hahaha berjelaaah nak explain.

Part yang lain sume ok. motor ringan, size sedang2, anti-back flow and beautiful design (feminist).

So from my own experience I would love to advice sisters out there, before purchasing a breastpump, make sure:

a. ukur saiz nipple korang. cek google cane nak ukur size nipple. ne untuk dapatkan ukuran saiz flange yang betul. kalau ukuran salah nanti nipple sakit. Like meee kah kah kah. kalau saiz nipple dah taw, beli breastpump online pun boleh. kalau beli dari kedai, TRY LAMA-LAMA SIKIT! 10 min ke.
But make sure the suction is good if u willing to buy through online.

b. heavy duty or medium? kalau korang jenis susu banyak, working mother, baby ada latching problem dan seangkatan dengannya, then I advice you to buy heavy duty. kalau macam saya ne, baby mostly breastfeeding, memang layak pakai medium jerrr. Jangan pulak beli light or medium breatpump then pakai macam heavy duty. Confirm akan rosak cepat.

c. Price vs Quality. kalau nak quality ok, beli la yang ada brand supaya senang nak cari part and service kalau ada rosak.

d. Baca review sebelum purchase

Whatever I share above, it is based on my personal experience alright? I dont know much about breastpump, so maybe everything is actually fine but because of my limited knowledge bout this stuff, it goes  wrong. Wallahua’lam

Whoopee Diaper Review

Alhamdulillah, I officially become a mother on 28 September 2018 with my sweet cutiey little boy. Being a young and independent mom is indeed TOUGH! *sigh* (-,-)3. But he is my biggest blessing! Alhamdulillah. Since I become a mother, I want to provide all the necessary things which have GOOD QUALITY for my son and I believe all mothers out there is doing the same isn't?

So last month I went to Baby Expo event at Shah Alam and there was 2 diapers booth, Goo.N and Whoopee. My son use Drypers actually since he was born and I never try other brand. I thought there will be Drypers booth there but there was not so I decided to buy Whoopee diaper because first, its cheap. 1 for RM24 and 2 for RM40. I bought 2 and second reason is I saw many peoples holding Whoopee bag. So, I expect the quality is good?? I do check the sample though and I really really really expect it to be good.

So here is my review. My honest opinion about this diaper.

It did not reach my expectation. In fact, it make me really disappointed! why? because:
1. The folding. Normal diaper folding is V shape, but Whoopee folding shape is U. It irritate me lol.
2. SIZE. They don't have New Born size. The smallest size they have is S. Either my son is big or the diaper is small. I honestly don't know but the diaper does not fit my baby thigh and as result, it LEAKed!
3. LEAKING! yes!! it leak. well, as I said, it doesn't fit my baby thigh, so maybe that's the reason why its leaked. But still, even if I try to secure it properly, it will still leaked. I have to change his cloths so many times.
4. Poor design.
5. Odor. It have bad smell once it used.
6. RASHES. It caused rashes around my son thigh.
7. PENETRATE. The poo cause bad view at the back of the diaper. The poo is not leaking or penetrate BUT it showed unpleasant color at the back. Like the poo is going through the diaper but it is not. Gahhh I hope you understand my explanation lol.

Good thing about this diaper is it breathable and soft. As for absorbency, I would say average. For my son it last for 6 hours max.

Anyways, all babies are different and every mommies have different opinion right? Its your own choice but for me, I probably not gonna purchase it in the future. Overall from 1 to 10, I rate 3/10 for this brand. Will just finish these 2 packs and thats it! will try another brand. Adios!
